I have a boyfriend that has an ex wife as I too have an ex husband. For some reason my boyfriend feels sorry for & helps his ex wife. She has cheated on him numerous amounts of times, stolen things from his house etc. And this past wknd their 9 yr. old son caught her having sex with yet another new man. I am appalled at what a terrible mother she is & yet he still does nothing. I have suggested that he have child protective services step in and deal with the situation but know that he won't do anything. She is having the children lie to their father about different things especially men. He has full custody of these children & yet he still allows her to cause more damage. Plz help me understand. I have to to a friend that is in the same situation & she cannot tell me why she does what she does either. They say they are not in love with them. So what's the reason?
