maybe she is showering you with kindness becuase she knows that you dont like her and she just wants to be nice. maybe you should reevaluate the reasons why you dont like her and decide if they are really valid reasons or not. Life is a whole lot better when you arent hating on everyone.

why do you refuse to talk to her?

It seems to me she may be just showing a determination not to dislike you back. I mean, maybe her smile (especially with the hands on the hips) means - "stuff you, I'm going to continue to be nice to you even though you won't speak to me"

Nervousness is a situation where the only thing you can do, is smile. You smile when you don't know the other person, when you don't know if they like you back, if they possibly don't even like you.
