Person in question is male, 19. He can't seem to see beyond trying to get the very next thing he needs. A meal. Money. The car. He doesn't seem to be able to plan well enough to get a job or stay in school. I know this describes a lot of teens, but believe me, his problem is more pronounced than anyone I've ever known. He's been diagnosed with depression, and at least one doctor has suspected he could be mildly Aspergers. He has little affect naturally. I think he's learned to pretend to feel.
